Children are the joy, the future and the hope of our country and the living incarnation of our best plans. Where there are children there is happiness and we experienced it at first hand by accompanying a group of children from Barros Blancos, representing the Las Palmas football school.

For most of the kids aged between nine and 13, it was the first time aboard a plane and they experienced it with radiant joy from their arrival at Carrasco Airport to the thrill of take-off, the flight over the Punta del Este coast and their return to the airport.

Many of these children had not slept the previous night anticipating the excitement and the adventure did not disappoint them.

Not a minute went by without displaying their joy by singing, shouting and clapping.

We applaud this notable initiative of Carrasco Airport together with LATAM airline to give these children an inspirational experience which will remain with them for a long time. Would that other companies similarly enrich the kids of Uruguay.
