Argentina seeking more connectivity in China

With the mission of continuating the expansion of Argentina’s connectivity with the rest of the world, the Instituto Nacional de Promoción Turística (INPROTUR) participated in the
World Routes 2018 trade fair at the China Import & Export Fai Complex convention center in the Chinese city of Guangzhou on 15-18 September.
World Routes is an itinerant fair for Airlines, airports and destinations and companies linked to aviation, an international event to help the professionals of the sector to develop and plan new air routes.
In the four days of the fair, over 3,000 delegates attended, representing over 300 airlines, 700 airports and 130 tourism authorities from 10 countries with the aim of generating strategic work meetings. There were also more than 80 lectures related to the industry.
INPROTUR participated together with representatives of Aeropuertos Argentina 2000 with the aim of generating more new routes to Argentina, with a particular emphasis on gaining more and better connectivity from China to our country. Towards that end there were meetings with China Southern Airlines, Air China, American Airlines, Copa Airlines,
Emirates, Qatar Airways, LATAM and Qantas, among other airlines.

This participation fits into the framework of the Aviation Revolution, which has given Argentina greater air connectivity with international markets. The forthcoming Air Europa Madrid-Iguazú flight as from June 1 next year, Air Canada’s direct connection between Toronto and Buenos Aires, the London-Buenos Aires flight of Norwegian Airlines or the upcoming Los Angeles-Buenos Aires of American Airlines are only some of the achievements.
